Analysis Wizard

I was hoping someone might be able to help me with a problem I'm having with the Analysis Wizard.

I'm trying to display all the in-links in a particular module. The module has in-links from 5 other modules and all use the same link module. If I open all of the modules and run the Analysis Wizard selecting all open modules and all link modules, the correct links show up. However, if I close the module and reopen it, I have to open the modules that are linked to it for the links to show up. I don't want the user to have to do that each time.

I have also run the Analysis Wizard selecting all modules and specifying the correct link module. When I do this the in-links from only one module show up. And if there are two in-links from that module to the same object, only one shows up.

Is there a trick to this? I'd like all the in-links to show up and not have to worry about opening the linked modules for this to happen.

I would appreciate any insight into this. Thanks.

When you are using the analysis wizard slow down and make sure you understand each pane before proceeding.

You are blowing past some of the panes without selecting the options needed to meet your own needs.

I have taken my time using the Analysis Wizard and I thought I understood it as well as I can given the limited instructions in the help.

Does anyone else have any ideas on how to show all the in-links from a particular link module?

One of the wizard options is for 'all module' or 'all open modules'. The 'all modules' option will open the other modules, no doubt you want that; but 'all open modules' is the default.

That same option allows you to specify a single specific other formal module, but I don't know if it will open it or not; probably yes.

If you are sure you got the Wizard right, then its likely your actual links are in the wrong link module. You can check link-module names by selecting your objects and Links meny >>Edit links. You'll need to make the dialog and the 'Link Module' column wider.
